THE GOLDEN CHILD


To go out to go fishing by night in canoe for the river Arauca has his risks. To whom they dare them one appears a golden child, who leads a canoe of the same golden metal.
The child attracts deceitfully with his weeping the attention of the fishermen and on having raised it for curiosity or for the desires of it helping, there is such his weight that sinks, taking to him grasped in his heavy hands the innocent fishermen towards the bottom of the river. It is said, that this history is one of the explanations of for what experienced and tanned fishermen of the river Arauca they disappear or suffocate in the nights of fishing.
